1. The toy car has run out of battery. It remains (stationary / stationery).
2. Mary, I need some new pens. Where can I find a (stationary / stationery) store?
Part I: Stationary (NOT MOVING)
有a的是not moving。
Example One: She rammed into a stationary vehicle at the side of the road.
Example Two: The bomb went off all of a sudden. Many were shocked and frozen.
Example Three: Official Washington remained totally transfixed today by the manhunt around Boston. (adapted from Roll Call)
Part II: Stationery
Example One: He bought some stationery.
1. stationary
2. stationery
